Phase 2 analysis (October - April) will narrow down the corridors to those that meet criteria established by the public and Sound Transit. The whole process of actually picking an alignment and technology should be finished by next April.
There will be more opportunities to comment, but if you want a new alignment put on the table for consideration, you should probably make your thoughts known to Sound Transit by the end of today.
Early scoping comment period
Sound Transit is currently in Phase I of this project which includes Tacoma Link Expansion early scoping. The public comment period for early scoping is August 17-September 17, 2012.

Comments are requested on the following topics, as well as any other others you feel are important to consider: the purpose and need for the project; alternative corridors or modes to be considered during the alternatives analysis; evaluation measures and criteria to compare alternatives; the environmental, transportation, and community impacts and benefits to be considered; and ways for the public to participate in the alternatives analysis process.
